The lodge we stayed in was well equipped and immaculate. The bed was incredibly comfortable, giving us the best four nights of sleep ever! The beautiful grounds were perfect for exploring and we loved having a BBQ in the summerhouse. The cream tea and breakfast box provided were delicious and made with fresh local produce. The hosts were friendly and not intrusive, making it a peaceful getaway.
The lodge entrance and view from the bedroom window weren't very inviting. some of the wood provided for the fire was damp, making it a bit challenging to get the fire going.

The lodge I stayed in, Hunters Lodge, was immaculate and well-equipped. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had the best four nights sleep ever! The beautiful grounds were perfect for exploring, and we even had a lovely BBQ in the summerhouse. The cream tea waiting for us on arrival was amazing, and the breakfast box filled with fresh local produce was excellent. The hosts were friendly and non-intrusive, making it a peaceful getaway.
Although the lodge entrance looked a bit Spartan with weeds, it didn't affect our overall experience. Additionally, the flies were a bit of a nuisance, but it's understandable considering the rural location surrounded by farms.

The bed was really comfortable and the quality of the bed linen and towels was excellent. The location was ideal, with plenty of places of interest to explore nearby. The access roads around the area were a bit tricky, especially if you have a shiny new car. We ended up with some scratches.
